Records show that the Nightingale Infant School building dates back to as early as 1925. Many of our children believe that one or two of our staff date back that far as well!
Occupying such a historical building is a fantastic privilige and, as can be seen in our photgraph section, the school grounds offer a perfect setting to inspire our pupil's creativity.
Due to the dated nature of our school building the corridor and classrooms can appear dull and austere without decoration. Fortunately our children are all budding Van Gogh's and find great enjoyment in brighening up the walls with all manner of masterpieces!
Not only does the children's artwork create an exciting and stimulating learning environment; it also links in well with the school curriculum.
